1st Birthday Gift

Hi - I was wondering what ideas anyone has for a 1st birthday gift. My friend's daughter is having her first birthday in a couple of weeks and I'm at my wits end what to get her.

I don't think she's really old enough to play with many toys yet and I don't want to buy something that just gets added to the pile.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.
