About Us

Hi Everyone...

groovy kids parties My name is Mary-Lou and this is a photo of me and my sons (and business partners) Ned & Digby and we live in Perth, Western Australia. I'm the creator (and they're the co-contributors) of groovy-kids-parties.com and we hope you're enjoying your visit on our fun website.

As a mother passionate about her kids, it is very important to me that I provide them with invaluable happy memories. I've done a lot of research at libraries and the world wide web and together with my own experiences I'm excited to provide this information to help you organise your kids' birthday parties and provide those same positive memories.

My two boys and I have spent lots of fun times in the kitchen baking cakes - yes we did do some of them ourselves, decorated them, took photos, and put them on our website for all and sundry to see.

We've practiced our face painting skills as I've dressed my son Ned as a spooky 'Mummy' and the same day he doubled as 'Dracula'. My youngest son Digby got to be a clown and we took step-by-step photos.

We've spent some time at the computer together designing printable invitations and choosing special printable drawings for people to download and colour in.

All this has made for some great family time for us and my kids love being involved in Mummy's 'work'. Not only has it been a lot of fun but also provided my boys with stimulating activities.

There are a lot more plans to build this site even more. We have more cakes to bake, more faces to paint, and who better to advise me on what kids like than two active, very involved little boys?

We hope you enjoy this site as much as we do building it and providing the information.

Please let us know if you have any comments, ideas, or suggestions about our website. We'd love to hear from you.

All the best

Mary-Lou, Ned and Digby
