Batman Cake for my son's 7th birthday

by Amy
(Virginia Beach, VA)

Batman Cake

Batman Cake

This Batman Cake was alot of fun to make and very simple - it did take me about 3 hours.

I used round cake pans and let them cool down before I frosted them. I used regular vanilla frosting and added some Wiltons coloring to make it yellow. I used the Wilton frosting and tinted it black for the piping. I also used the black frosting for the road.

Using Wilton frosting holds up better than the regular frosting, it has a better stiffness to it, and then I placed the Batman and car on the cake. It was a huge success - all 20 kids loved it.

I am planning to do another Batman Cake again for my other son who will be 5 years old in a few weeks.
