Bratz Cake

by Amanda Fang Yuen

Bratz Cake

Bratz Cake

I made this Bratz Cake for my niece's 7th birthday and everyone loved it.

First I found a picture/colouring in picture I wanted to use and I printed it out back to front, I put baking paper around it and stuck it down with sticky tape. Then with my buttercream icing I traced and coloured in the picture, then froze it over night.

I used a rectangle pan and 2 x cake mix from the shop. I then took the picture out of the freezer and carefully flipped it over on to the cake and slowly pulled the baking paper off and then decorated the rest of the cake.

It's nice - you could haved used piping gel from Wilton. Print out the picture, put parchment paper on top of the picture then with a round trip trace out the picture then flip it over and already iced cake with a brush lightly trace it to the cake then pull over the parchment paper and you should be able to see the clear outlined of the Bratz picture in the cake.
