Christening Cake

I made this Christening Cake for my nephew's baptism.

I covered a baked square cake with white fondant icing and piped buttercream icing around the bottom edges.

I kneaded some blue colouring into white fondant icing and using star-shaped cutters, cut star shapes. I stuck these onto the cake using a little water. I also used water to stick on silver cachous around the blue stars.
