Daniel's Football Cake

Daniel's Football Cake My son Daniel recently turned 6 years old and asked for a Football Cake. He loves playing football (Aussie Rules) and barracks for the Fremantle Dockers. This cake could be made with an ordinary cake mixture baked in a 9"x13" oblong cake tin but Daniel wanted an ice-cream cake so I used ice-cream instead of cake mixture. The process was simple, I just had to make sure to regularly put the cake back in the freezer (while I was putting the icing on) so it wouldn't melt. I made the icing with ice-cream and cream and added the colouring.
