Disney Cars Cake

This is how I made this Cars Cake: I first bought the pan from ebay and then made a sponge cake recipe that has been in my family for years.

After it had been baked and cooled I used the tin to outline the icing and then carefully placed icing on the cake - which was quite easy. After that I carefully painted the cake using the icing colours that I bought which were proper Wilton colours for Disney cars.

My son thought it was great and so did all of his mates who came to his party. I have been told that it was that good to start doing it as a hobby and sell them!
