Face Painting - what paint to use?

by Suzi
(Melbourne)

I've been asked to do some face painting for a friend whose daughter is having a fairy party. What face paint should I use and do you have any good designs?

Fairy Face Painting
by: Mary-Lou - Groovy Kids Parties

Hi Suzi - If you visit our Face Painting page on this website, you will find lots of good tips about what face paints to use. There are also a couple of good examples you can use - such as butterfly and a flower.

I have found it best to use water-based paint and always use a layer of moisturiser such as sorbolene before applying the paint. This is easy on sensitive skin and makes it easier to wash off after.

Good luck with your face painting!

Regards

Mary-Lou
