Make a Fairy Birthday CakeThe perfect Fairy Birthday Cake for your Fairy Birthday Party. This cake was pretty simple to make. You will need: * 2 butter cake mixes (or use our Butter Cake recipe * Pink Butter Cream Icing * Cake Decorations (flowers, silver cachous etc) * Barbie doll (top half)
When the cake is baked, turn it upside down and use as the skirt. Ice it with pink Butter Cream Icing and decorate with little flowers and silver baubles. I used the top half of a barbie doll, placing it in the top of the cake, and used wooden chopsticks to hold it in place. I also bought a $2 set of fairy wings and tied them on the back of the doll. The idea is basic, just use your imagination to decorate!
