Football Cake 2

I baked this Football Cake for my son's 5th birthday.

I used two Dolly Varden cake tins to bake two chocolate cakes.

I stuck the two cakes together (at the wide ends) using chocolate buttercream icing and cut them at the base to sit flat on the plate.

For the grass around the Football Cake I used coconut tinted with green food colouring.

I used black licorice strips for the laces on top and the number '5'.
