Help with birthday invitations

by Daisy
(Karratha)

I have a question about what to put on my son's birthday invitations...

He's inviting only a few friends from his kindy class and I'm mailing the invitations to the guests' homes (so as not to hurt any little feelings). All these littlies are on a first-name basis. Is it correct to put his surname on the invitations?

Have you thought about emailing the invitations?
by: Pem

Hi. If you are looking to limit the invitations to a few select people, why not email them instead if you have the addresses? I've used the website partyeventmanager.com to do this for my mother's surprise 50th last month and it was great.

You only invite who you want, they get the email and either accept or decline and ye all can chat before hand on the web page to keep it quiet?

Just a thought.

Yes, I would also put the surname.

If there's another child in the same class with the same name, yes I'd put their surname, or at least the first initial of their surname.

Otherwise, I think it's fine just to have their first name.

I would put your son's first name as well as his surname on his birthday invitations.

You could also put "from Kindy" on the invitation.
