Number 10 Cake

by Vanya
(Perth, Western Australia)

Number 10 Cake

Number 10 Cake

I baked this Number 10 Cake in the shape of a 'Hopscotch' for my daughter's Tenth Birthday.

I baked a vanilla 9"x13" oblong cake and cut small squares to make up the hopscotch shape.

I decorated with plain buttercream icing and dipped the squares in coconut tinted with different food colourings.

I used red licorice strips to put the numbers on.

We went a little different to the original hopscotch design - up to 10 as it was her 10th birthday.
