Hi, Love the number 8 cake. I am also going with the number 8 cake idea for my son he wants me to bake a race track cake though similar idea though, I think they look really nice. You did a great job well done.

Just thought of an easier way to get the "8"....instead of 2 round cakes and cutting the hole out of each, why not try using 2 bunt pans. The hole will already be there for you!

I am a first times when it comes to make a cake ...I am living in Holland and I don't find icing/frosting here.
