Racecourse Cake

Racecourse Cake

Racecourse Cake

I baked this Racecourse Cake for my daughter's third birthday.

I baked a chocolate cake in a round tin with a hole in the middle. I also baked another loaf tin cake to attach to the round cake (for the starting area).

I covered the top of the cake using buttercream icing. I then tinted some coconut with green food colouring and sprinkled this on top for the grass.

I used chocolate finger biscuits for the inside and outside edges.

I used plastic horse toys to place around the cake and a plastic tree on the end.
