How to Make a Spooky Cake

Let your creative side out of the bag with this Spooky Cake this Halloween...

This Spooky Cake was made for Ned's friend Courtney's spooky party when she turned 7.

Dinosaur Cake

Using any one of our basic birthday cake recipes pour the mixture into loaf tins instead of round tins and cut them to make the shape of a 7. (Use a round or loaf tin depending on what age birthday it is).

Ice your cake using Butter Cream Icing, and whatever food colouring you like. For this cake we used chocolate coconut balls for the little spiders and black coloured tube icing (available at your local supermarket) to paint on the spider legs and draw the spider web. (You could also use sticks of licorice).
